Applications open for CrowdCamp@HCOMP: a hack-a-thon for crowdsourcing ideas

We are running the third instance of CrowdCamp as a workshop at the first HCOMP conference.

This is a two-day hack-a-thon on Wednesday Nov. 6th and Saturday Nov 9th.  We are separating the two days of the hackathon to allow for data collection during the conference. To apply, you must be able to commit to attending both days of the conference.

More information and applications here: http://crowdresearch.org/crowdcamp/

Applications are due: Wednesday September 25, 2013 11:59PM (PST)

The application mainly consists of an idea for a project and a breakdown of that idea into parts that a team of 3-6 can accomplish over 2 days.

Who is eligible? Social scientists, programmers, ethnographers, designers and whatever else you consider yourself are all welcome. We enourage all ideas related to crowdsourcing, human computation and social media.
